What you will learn in Basic Life Support?

The Basic Life Support (BLS) – Online Course is a comprehensive Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) program designed to strengthen the knowledge and skills required to recognize and respond effectively to life-threatening emergencies. This self-paced online course enables healthcare professionals and nursing personnel to learn at their convenience while maintaining professional competence in emergency care.

The course provides an in-depth understanding of the principles and practices of Basic Life Support, including the early recognition and management of cardiac arrest, respiratory emergencies, and airway obstruction. Learners will gain knowledge of the latest evidence-based guidelines for delivering high-quality Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the appropriate use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

Practice Test

Practice test consists of multiple choice questions which are categorized into three levels covering for extensive learning on adult CPR, child CPR and infant CPR comprising 1-rescuer and 2-rescuer techniques with a focus on High-Quality CPR and team dynamics, use of an AED on adults and children, and relieve responsive and non-responsive victims of choking.
